Delhi High Court has dealt a setback to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by halting his release order in a corruption case tied to the Delhi Liquor Policy on Friday.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) lodged a challenge against Kejriwal's bail just as he was set to be released from Tihar jail.

Earlier, a Delhi court had granted bail to Kejriwal on a ₹1 lakh personal bond but imposed conditions preventing interference with the investigation or witness influence.

Kejriwal, arrested on March 21 for alleged money laundering in connection with the 2021-22 liquor policy, faces accusations of channelling funds from liquor sales into AAP's Goa campaign, where he serves as convenor.
