She was taken to Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU) Hospital due to some health issues, an official said.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) lodged a challenge against Kejriwal's bail just as he was set to be released from Tihar jail.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is supposed to surrender today in Tihar jail at around 3 PM.

Mann said, "Thanks to the Supreme Court... now we will fight the battle to save democracy with more intensity... Arvind Kejriwal is not a person but a thought...and now will take this thought forward with greater momentum." 

"We were separated by an iron mesh. This could be the height of their hatred. Arvind Kejriwal has asked me to tell people not to worry about him and vote. Please vote to save democracy," Mann said. 

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is set to meet his Delhi counterpart, Arvind Kejriwal, in Tihar jail on April 30, according to sources within the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).

Penned and sung by AAP MLA Dilip Pandey, the party's election song was launched here by party leaders at an event at the AAP headquarters. 

"I had a half-an-hour meeting in the 'mulakat jangla'. He said that people should not worry about him. He said he is strong and he will continue his fight with the blessings of the people of Delhi," the Delhi minister told reporters after the meeting. 

This assertion follows a recent court hearing where AAP sought provisions for insulin and medical consultations for Kejriwal while in confinement.

According to jail officials, an infrastructure is provided inside the prisons for training under-trial prisoners (UTP). The programme was launched in early 2023. Baniwal said skilling and empowering inmates is something that makes them worth it.

The BJP is trying to break him out of "malice and vendetta" but he will emerge stronger from all of this, said Singh who is out on bail. 

Singh said, "There is an attempt to break the morale of CM Kejriwal. His family has not been allowed in-person meetings with him. They are only allowed to meet him through the jangla. This is inhuman. Even hardcore criminals are allowed in-person meetings."
