PM Modi accused opposition parties of collaborating with "jihadis" for "vote jihad," alleging they aim to reverse progress by reinstating Article 370 and repealing the Citizenship Amendment Act. He criticised their stance on reservation and claimed Congress obstructed BrahMos missile sales, advocating for self-reliance in defense.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated on Saturday that India has transformed significantly under PM Modi, highlighting a "huge difference" between pre-2014 and today. He noted that before 2014, there was "mistrust and identity crisis," but now the world respects India, with citizens warmly welcoming PM Modi globally.

After their attempts to pacify the crowd failed, Gandhi and Yadav conferred briefly and decided to leave the venue to prevent any security breaches. Footage from the event showed broken barricades and a densely packed crowd.

Ranaut's assertion, captured in a viral video clip, has elicited a spectrum of reactions from netizens, with many deriding her comparison to one of Bollywood's most revered figures, particularly in light of her recent string of box office disappointments. 

Upon his arrival, PM Modi proceeded directly to the Raj Bhavan around 10:20 pm, where he was greeted by West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose. He stayed overnight at the Governor's residence.

PM Modi will address an election rally in the Sagar Lok Sabha seat, following which, he will reach Harda (Betul LS seat) and then attend a roadshow in Bhopal.

In a tightly packed campaign schedule, PM Modi kicks off with a rally in Amroha on April 19, while Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav hold a joint rally. On April 22, Modi targets Hathras and Aligarh. April 25 sees Modi's rallies in Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Bareilly, Aonla, and Shahjahanpur, followed by a Bareilly roadshow on April 26.

Modi's arrival is anticipated at 1:45 pm, followed by his journey to the Swami Vivekananda ground for the public gathering, informed BJP's state general secretary, Amit Rakshit.
