Delhi Capitals head coach and former Australia captain Ricky Ponting believes high-scoring games will continue to be a norm in the IPL even if the much-debated 'Impact Player' rule is discontinued.

"It is very important to bowl on a good length and that's the main challenge when I bowl in the death overs. I bowled several seam-up deliveries to read what the batters were doing. Just the length matters for me and that was the plan," he said.
