Punjab speaker accepts MLA Sheetal's resignation

The resignation of Jalandhar West MLA Sheetal Angural has been accepted by Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwa on Monday.  

 

He switched from AAP to BJP over two months ago and also submitted his resignation from the Assembly, and yesterday, wrote to the Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Sandhwan to withdraw his resignation, which was still pending with the Speaker. 

 

The Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha has called Sheetal for a meeting today at 11 AM. Following this meeting, the announcement regarding the acceptance of the MLA's resignation was made.
