Infosys founder Narayana Murty and wife Sudha Murty exercise voting rights in Bengaluru

Sudha Murty, a celebrated author and philanthropist in her own right said, "I want to tell everyone don't sit at home, come out and vote, choose your leader. I always feel that urban people vote less as compared to those in rural areas. I request youngsters to come out and vote."

Sudha Murty, a celebrated author and philanthropist in her own right said, "I want to tell everyone don't sit at home, come out and vote, choose your leader. I always feel that urban people vote less as compared to those in rural areas. I request youngsters to come out and vote."

 

Narayana Murty arrived at the polling station to exercise his constitutional right. 

 

The couple's presence added a fervour to the democratic process in the state capital.

 

The state of Karnataka, a key battleground in the Lok Sabha elections, witnessed more than 10% turnout till 9 a.m on Friday as voters queued up to cast their ballots for their preferred candidates.
