Jyotiraditya Scindia's son engages voters with 'Nukkad Sabha' ahead of Guna elections

For the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Guna, Madhya Pradesh, Mahanaryaman Scindia, son of Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, took to the streets with a 'nukkad sabha' in Bamori.

 

The move comes as the parliamentary constituency gears up for polling in the third phase on May 7.

 

The 'nukkad sabha' provided an opportunity for direct interaction between the aspiring leader and the local populace.

 

Guna, historically significant in Madhya Pradesh, presents a crucial battleground for contesting parties.

 

The Scindia family's longstanding influence in the region adds a layer of intrigue to the electoral dynamics.

 

Meanwhile, as Maharashtra witnessed the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, voter turnout figures revealed a mixed bag of participation across constituencies.

 

With a voter turnout of 31.77 percent recorded till 1 pm and 43.01% till 3 pm, Maharashtra trailed behind other states in polling intensity.

 

Notably, Parbhani stood out with the highest voter turnout of 33.88 percent during the same period.
