The AAP has urged the Centre to promptly implement measures to prevent industries in the two states from discharging their waste into the Yamuna without appropriate treatment. 

Recently, Haryana and Rajasthan signed an agreement to collaborate on crafting a detailed project report for the transfer of Rajasthan's portion of Yamuna water from Hathnikund in Haryana through underground pipelines.
