After the incident, the Forest Department team admitted the injured people to a nearby hospital for treatment and also paid some compensatory amount.  The Forest Department team is camping at the village to catch or drive away the pig if it is seen again.

The tigress was captured on March 7 and is awaiting necessary medical examination before translocation. The translocation is part of the ongoing Tiger Relocation Project aimed at increasing the tiger population at Rajaji.

"There are 21 cheetahs in the KNP at present and this area has great potential. Currently, eight cubs are roaming freely with the female cheetah in Kuno," Yadav was quoted as saying in an official release.
