Air India will resume its evening flights from Delhi to Dhaka on Tuesday despite the volatile situation in Bangladesh. Vistara's services to Dhaka will begin on August 7. Both airlines had earlier canceled some flights due to unrest. Air India offers a one-time rescheduling waiver for flights between August 4 and 7.

Most of the cancellations are within the domestic network and have been planned ahead to lessen passenger disruption. “All affected passengers have been accommodated on other flights as needed”, the spokesperson added.

The airline attributed flight disruptions to a shortage of pilots as it announced measures to address the situation. These measures include reducing flight operations and deploying wide-body aircraft on domestic routes.
