The recent cancellation comes after the startup postponed the launch on March 22, citing "unavoidable circumstances." Although the specific reasons for both cancellations were not disclosed by Agnikul Cosmos, speculation arose around potential weather disturbances for the initial delay.

"With this machine, we can see the tiny vessels which feed the cerebral cortex, or details of the cerebellum which were almost invisible until now," explained Vignaud.

Celebrated in India every year on February 28, the day is observed to commemorate the discovery of the 'Raman effect' by scientist C V Raman, who won the Nobel prize in physics for the groundbreaking finding. 

Describing the existing collaboration between NSF and India's Department of Science and Technology, Panchanathan outlined two successful rounds of funding, encompassing 35 projects focused on digital technology hubs.
