Punjab Police launched a targeted operation on Thursday, raiding the hideouts of 246 significant drug smugglers who are currently out on bail. These individuals, known as "big fish," were caught with 2 kg or more of contraband substances. This initiative is part of the police force's ongoing efforts to combat the drug menace in the state.

"Manish Tewari is a political tourist... In 1991, he went to Kanpur to contest the election... even before he reached the constituency people objected and he was sent back to Delhi from the airport itself," Tandon stated. 

"The writing is on the wall that the BJP is on the way out," he said. 

Tandon, who is also BJP's co-in-charge for Himachal Pradesh, thanked his party leadership for giving him the ticket from Chandigarh, which will go to polls in the last phase of general elections on June 1.
