The city police recently registered an FIR against an unidentified person in connection with a similar deep fake video of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan where he was purportedly seen promoting a political party. 

Not just politicians but a couple of Bollywood A-list celebrities have also fallen prey to AI deepfake these elections.

The news came days after reports of Padukone's pregnancy were doing social media rounds when the actor was photographed covering her midsection at the 77th BAFTA Awards which she attended as a presenter.  

Reports claim the actress is in her second trimester, fueled by speculation over her recent appearances and alleged withdrawal from projects like "The White Lotus" season 3.
