Norway has recently joined the European Union (EU) in imposing sanctions on extremist Israeli settlers and organisations operating in Palestinian territories and the West Bank. This decision, announced by the Norwegian government, aligns with the EU’s measures taken on July 15, which target individuals and groups involved in serious human rights violations against Palestinians.

Holding banners that read "Students of Columbia University, continue to stand by us" and "Violating our right to education and life is a war crime," the students conveyed their appreciation for the international solidarity rallying behind the Palestinian cause.
