Reviewing the education department’s work, at the secretariat, the chief minister directed them to consult education experts, intellectuals and other related professionals and carry out the improvements required.

The scheme would be brought back in a new avatar— Janma Bhoomi-II—to suit the needs of Andhra Pradesh, which badly needed impetus for development post-bifurcation.

As part of efforts to revive the project, the state government's Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) had decided to initiate talks with the Singapore government about developing the seed capital area in Amaravati.

In a post on ‘X’, the Maharashtra Chief Minister’s Office said the chief ministers discussed cooperation between their states for progress.

“Strategically placed on the eastern coast of the country, our state has significant petrochemical potential. Today, I met with representatives of BPCL to explore the establishment of an oil refinery and petrochemical complex in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of Rs 60-70,000 crore. I have sought a detailed plan and feasibility report in 90 days. About 5,000 acres of land will be required for this project, which the government looks forward to facilitating in a hassle-free manner,” Naidu shared on social media.

Naidu said that between 2019 and 2024, when the YSRCP was in power, investors lost confidence and the brand image of Andhra took a severe beating. He said he was now looking forward to a regime of no power cuts, quality, and reliable power supply to the consumers at an affordable cost.
