The producers announced on Friday that "Kalki 2898 AD," Nag Ashwin's 3D extravaganza, raked in a whopping Rs 298.5 crore in just two days at the worldwide box office.

Vyjayanthi Movies shared the opening day figure of the movie on its official X page through a poster which stated that "Kalki 2898 AD" earned Rs 191.5 crore in gross box office collection (GBOC).

Based on early trends, the movie is expected to earn over Rs 200 crore worldwide on its opening day, Thursday, according to industry experts.
