Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital on Friday. During their meeting, CM Saini stated that he received valuable guidance from the Prime Minister on various important topics.

The BJP has appointed both the Chief Minister as well as the state president from the non-Jat communities. While Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini belongs to the Saini community, which falls in the OBC category, the new state president of the party is Mohan Lal Badoli, a Brahmin leader.

Under the state scheme, 15,250 beneficiaries were given land plot allotment certificates on Wednesday, according to an official statement.

"The results of the Lok Sabha elections have shown that the Congress is the strongest party in the state. 42 former MLAs, former ministers, MPs, and former MPs from other parties, including the BJP, have joined the Congress. Three independent MLAs supporting the government have also supported the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections," he said.

Shiromani Akali Dal's Ranjit Singh Dhillion, Aam Aadmi Party's Ashok Prashar Pappi, and Bahujan Samaj Party's Davinder Singh Ramgharia are also contesting for the seat. 

Priyanka predicted the win of Congress on all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, and that too with a huge margin. 

"Modi has turned Hindustan ke jawan into labourers," he alleged. 

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, who is contesting the Karnal assembly by-poll, and former chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar, who is in the fray for the Karnal Lok Sabha seat, were also present. 

While the Congress is contesting on nine seats, its INDIA bloc ally AAP has fielded its candidate from the Kurukshetra constituency.

The policy has been approved for one year starting from June 12.

"Generally after a trust vote has been won, a floor test is not needed within six months. However, if the governor sahib gives such a direction, then we will prove (our majority)," Pal said.

In 2019, the Jannayak Janta Party, which had campaigned against the BJP, after the results extended its support to it and formed a government in the state in alliance.
