The polling, covering Darjeeling, Balurghat, and Raiganj constituencies, is scheduled to continue until 6 pm. A total of 47 candidates, including state BJP president Sukanta Majumdar, are vying for the three seats, with 51.17 lakh eligible voters poised to determine their fate.

Voters from West Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Manipur, and Tripura are casting their ballot for the second phase of the LS polls.

A total of 77.26 lakh voters, comprising 38.95 lakh males, 38.61 lakh females, and 179 third gender individuals, are eligible to cast their votes across 9,133 polling stations.
