The Supreme Court is set to hear Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s bail plea on Wednesday, August 14. This plea challenges his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the ongoing excise policy case. The case will be reviewed by a bench of Justices Surya Kant and Ujjal Bhuyan.

The Rouse Avenue Court has mandated a timeline for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to provide hard copies of up to the eighth supplementary charge sheets to the accused individuals in the Delhi excise policy case. The deadline for this task is set for July 31. Among those produced virtually from Tihar Jail were Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and K Kavitha. The court has instructed jail authorities to ensure the accused are presented via video conferencing on July 31.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has taken a significant step in the ongoing Excise Policy case by filing a supplementary prosecution complaint (chargesheet) in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. In the ongoing Delhi Excise policy case, AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s counsel informed the court on Friday that inspecting the documents at the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office would take approximately 90 to 100 hours. Other counsels also mentioned the time they would need for inspection.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has dropped a legal bombshell by declaring its intention to implicate the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi liquor policy case. This revelation emerged during the bail proceedings of AAP leader Manish Sisodia before the Delhi High Court.
