The reallocation of the medal to Barbosu followed a ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) last week.

While some media reports claim that the ad hoc division of CAS has extended time till 6 pm on August 11, 2024. However, reasoned order will be made public at a later date, which is likely to be August 13, says IOA source.
