According to the press release statement, the CM during his meeting with Nadda, also underscored his administration’s commitment to boosting the health sector via improving the infrastructure and services offered to the public. 

National president JP Nadda will attend the event. However, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will give it a miss owing to health issues.

It's being speculated that the BJP will contest all 90 seats in the Assembly.

The BJP president will address the BJP’s executive meeting starting on July 5, which will be attended by over 2,000 senior party leaders and officials.

Nadda’s meeting with other BJP leaders is likely to involve discussions on future party programmes in the UT and preparations for Assembly, local bodies, Municipal, and panchayat elections.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge continues as the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.

Nadda, who was also allocated the Chemicals and Fertilisers Ministry, took his oath as a cabinet minister a day earlier in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.

He had been a minister in HP twice in the BJP government but had left his cabinet berth in the state 13 years back to join the national BJP politics.

Addressing the gathering, the BJP chief said under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progressing and the common man, Dalits, youth, and farmers, among others, were empowered. 

The BJP released its manifesto, 'Modi Ka Guarantee for Odisha 2024', for Odisha's assembly elections, pledging 3.5 lakh jobs in five years, cash vouchers for women, reimbursement for chit fund losses, and paddy procurement at Rs 3,100 per quintal. Other promises include scholarships, pensions, infrastructure development, and healthcare reforms.

Amit Shah conducts four public meetings in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, while J.P. Nadda reveals the party's manifesto for Odisha. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is also scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to the state from Saturday, during which he will meet intellectuals and journalists.
