Ajay Devgn posted a video from the inaugural ceremony of "Son of Sardaar" on Instagram.

Apart from Ajay Devgn, actors Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone are playing pivotal roles in the film, which will be released on Diwali.

"Maidaan," based on a true story, stars Ajay Devgn in the role of Syed Abdul Rahim, a figure who made significant contributions to Indian football.

Presented by Jio Studios, Devgn Films and Panorama Studios, "Shaitaan" is produced by Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.

"I would not call it just a sports film. It has got so much drama. As an actor, it was a film with so many layers. It is very strong in its emotional drama, apart from sports. After a long time, I had fun doing a film like this. I thoroughly enjoyed it," Devgn added.

The movie is a supernatural thriller with Madhavan playing the role of a shaitaan (evil spirit). The poster of the same was also shared through his Instagram account with a caption— Main Hoon #Shaitaan (sic).
