Spearheaded by the indomitable Rashid Khan, Afghanistan triumphed despite formidable odds, overcoming not just their opponents but years of adversity.

Afghanistan's star player Rashid Khan and his team are counting on an Indian victory over Australia, which would clarify their path to the semifinals by giving them a clearer target for their NRR against Bangladesh.

"If you play well, that's all the money and reward I need," Jadeja told the team, according to  Afghanistan Cricket Board chief, Naseeb Khan.
