Punjab CM meets Vinesh Phogat's family in Haryana

The chief minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann, on Wednesday, met with the family members of Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat, after she was disqualified today, being found 100 grams overweight for her category in the women's 50 kg category. 

 

The chief minister was in Charkhi Dadri to address a rally.

 

He also met Phogat's family members at her residence.

 

Vinesh had scripted history by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to reach the gold medal bout in the event.

 

The disqualification ended her, and India's hope for a medal.
