ED summons Dheeraj Sahu in connection with Hemant Soren land scam case

Dheeraj Sahu, liquor baron of Jharkhand, has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on February 10. 

 

As per sources, the BMW recovered from the house of Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren belongs to Sahu. Earlier a couple of months back, the Income Tax Department had raided his business premises and recovered cash to the tune of over 350 crore.   

 

Sahu, a close friend of the Gandhi family is a trained hunter of his time and is known for perfect shooting, however, at this point of time, the tax department and other anti-money money federal agencies are chasing his treasure troves. 

 

So far, this is the biggest cash and bullion haul made in the country's history, and the tax enforcement bosses believe that this is just the tip of the iceberg of the hidden treasure troves of the extended family of Dheeraj Sahu.
