Boxer Nishant Dev enters quarterfinals of 71kg men's boxing

Nishant Dev from India advanced to the quarterfinals of the 71kg men's boxing event at the Paris Olympics after defeating Jose Gabriel Rodriguez Tenorio from Ecuador on Wednesday.

 

Dev secured a 3-2 victory in a split decision.

 

He initiated the fight aggressively, delivering precise punches and comfortably winning the first round.

 

In the latter part of the match, his Ecuadorian opponent showed resilience, pushing Dev to his limits.

 

However, Dev managed to maintain his lead and secure a spot in the quarterfinals.
