CM said, "I will not allow the government treasury to be misused for political gains and emphasised that subsidies on electricity and water would be rationalised to ensure that only the needy get desirable benefits".

Haryana's Chief Electoral Officer, Pankaj Agarwal, during a press conference, announced that the state has requested 225 companies of central forces, with 70 already allotted, to ensure a smooth electoral process for the upcoming polls.

The task force, led by Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, has been instructed to submit an interim report within three weeks and a final report within two months.

A case of sexual harassment with a minor has been registered under section 75 of BNS and section 12 POCSO Act and intentionally insulting or intimidating a member of a Scheduled Caste under section 3(1) of SC/ST Act, police said.

"Congress had given appointments to players on senior posts like DSP under the 'bring medals, get post’ policy. However, the BJP stopped this policy as soon as it came to power and took away the right of appointment to high posts from the players. BJP is discriminating against the players to such an extent that it has not given promotion to the players who became DSPs during the Congress tenure till date", he stated.

"The Bharatiya Janata Party is an ideology-based party. The party has never compromised on ideals. In this party, no one is above the organisation," he said.

"I have tendered my resignation as Vidhan Sabha member (MLA)," Choudhry stated.
