Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu met with former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister of Power, Manohar Lal Khattar, in Chandigarh on Friday. The two leaders engaged in a detailed discussion on various important topics, including power, smart cities, and other pertinent issues concerning Himachal Pradesh.

Ranaut had recently said that due to a large number of tourists in the state, people should bring Aadhaar cards to identify themselves as constituents to meet her. Singh responded, saying it's their responsibility as representatives to meet people from all sections, regardless of their identity or purpose.

"Had they declared it a national disaster, Himachal would have got funds from the centre to deal with the disaster like other states. But they did not want to give relief to the people here," she said.

Addressing a massive crowd at the historic Gandhi Chowk in Hamirpur, Anurag Thakur, the Lok Sabha candidate for Hamirpur constituency, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received from the people.

"We are doing politics of development, she is doing politics of entertainment," said Singh, adding that this "picture" directed by Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur would fail at the "box office" on June 1.

There is no disputing the fact that Ranaut has brought glory to Himachal Pradesh, but she must also answer why she remembered Mandi only after taking entering the political arena, Vikramaditya said.

The committee has been formed for better coordination between the state government and the organisation in the wake of the recent rebellion, it comprises the CM, PCC chief, Deputy CM, health minister and two senior former ministers, Kaul Singh Thakur and Ram Lal Thakur.
