Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has recently made a notable decision to include the Vande Bharat train in the Leave Travel Concession (LTC) benefits for state government employees. This move comes after employees requested that travel on this modern train be added to the LTC options they can use.

"First we could not figure out what happened but soon, we saw some cracks on the window pane of the coach," one of them said.

Scores of ticketless passengers had boarded the Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Lucknow Junction and Dehradun. 

Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the Railways remained in despair despite being the biggest public carrier because of the previous government's neglect and ignorance.

Vande Metro is based on the latest technology to acquire high acceleration and deceleration, which will help it cover more stoppages in less time. The train will have several new features, keeping in mind the travel needs of city dwellers.

The projects span multiple sectors including railway infrastructure, connectivity, and petrochemicals. Among the highlights of the day's event, Modi flagged off ten new Vande Bharat trains, marking a substantial expansion of India's high-speed rail network.

PM also inaugurated additional train routes, such as Ahmedabad to Mumbai Central, Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam, and Lucknow to Dehradun. This adds to the three Vande Bharat trains now serving Jharkhand, including the "Ranchi-Patna" and "Ranchi-Howrah" routes.

Inaugural run of the Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central superfast train and extension of the Ahmedabad-Jamnagar Vande Bharat Express up to Okha to be flagged off simultaneously on Tuesday.
