One remotely piloted aircraft of the Indian Air Force met with an accident in Pithala village in Jaisalmer district today during a routine training sortie.

"The trial landing exercise has been completed successfully. Two transport aircraft, AN-32 and Dornier, landed," Jindal stated.

The woman trainee pilot sustained injuries in the crash, said Cantonment police station in-charge Chanchal Tiwari.
