Terrorists are upgrading their weaponry, moving from AK-47s and AK-56s to more lethal foreign-made arms, including US-made M4 assault rifles, steel-coated bullets, and Chinese-made ammunition.

The People's Anti-Facist Force (PAFF), Revival of Resistance (both linked to Jaish), and The Resistance Front (affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba) initially took to social media to assert their involvement in the attack on the bus travelling from Shiv Khori to Katra in Reasi, officials said.

President Droupadi Murmu and BJP leaders have expressed deep condolences and condemned the recent terror attack on a bus carrying pilgrims to the Shiv Khori shrine in Reasi district. The attack resulted in nine deaths and 33 injuries.
