Reiterating that he had no role in the alleged phone tapping, the main accused T Prabhakar Raosaid, “I have not committed nor directed anyone to commit any illegal acts or omissions while discharging my duties as a police officer at any time including as chief of the Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB).”

Former Telangana Intelligence Bureau chief T Prabhakar Rao, the main accused in the case, is currently in the United States and is expected to return to the city ‘anytime this week.’
