The Karkardooma court in Delhi has dismissed a plea made by former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain, who sought the production of documents from another case.

Former AAP councillor Tahir Hussain has been granted bail in one of the cases related to the 2020 Delhi riots. The court deemed his involvement in this particular incident as "remote" and noted that he had already spent more than three years in custody.

The Delhi Court dismissed the bail plea of Tahir Hussain, a key accused in the Delhi riots conspiracy under UAPA, citing his role in the riots and the bar under the UAPA. Hussain was arrested on April 6, 2020, in connection with the North East Delhi riots case, with the charge-sheet filed on September 16, 2020.
