"The fourth flight test shifts our focus from achieving orbit to demonstrating the ability to return and reuse Starship and Super Heavy," an official SpaceX statement said. "The primary objectives include executing a landing burn and soft splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico with the Super Heavy booster, and achieving a controlled entry of Starship," it added.

Elon Musk's SpaceX aims to make space travel accessible, with plans for lunar and Martian missions, while nearing full reusability of rockets like Falcon and Starship, with a focus on rapid and reliable launches.

While SpaceX continues its developmental strides with Starship and the Super Heavy booster in Texas, the company is strategizing for future launches from the Space Coast. Presently, SpaceX awaits an FAA-issued license to conduct Starship launches from the Kennedy Space Center.
