FIR was lodged under sections 188 (causing danger by disobedience), 505(3) (spreading rumours), 34 (criminal act done by several persons with common intention), and sections of the Religious Institution (Prevention and Misuse) Act 1988, police said.

The incident occurred around 7.30 am near the Solan bypass.  

The death toll in the fire at a perfume manufacturing unit in the Baddi industrial area of Himachal Pradesh's Solan increased to five as firefighters were working to bring the blaze under control nearly 24 hours after it started.
