After incessant complaints and allegations of obstruction, comedian Shyam Rangeela has finally managed to file his nomination papers to contest as an independent candidate from the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency in Uttar Pradesh.

Rangeela, who said he had been trying to file papers in Varanasi since Friday, May 10, stated that he was not allowed to enter the district magistrate's office on Tuesday, the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed nomination papers from the prestigious seat.

Comedian Shyam Rangeela, known for mimicking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, announced on Wednesday that he will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi against PM Modi.
