India men’s and women’s compound teams won gold medals at the ongoing Archery World Cup Stage 1 in Shanghai on Saturday.

The Indian trio of Tarundeep Rai, Dhiraj Bommadevara and Pravin Jadhav set up a gold medal clash with Olympic champions Korea after storming into the men's team recurve final of the Archery World Cup Stage 1 here on Thursday.

Indian men's team, featuring Abhishek Verma, Prathamesh Bhalchandra Fuge, and Priyansh, beat Philippines, Denmark, and top qualifiers South Korea, reaching the final against the Netherlands. Indian women's team, led by Aditi Swami, Jyothi Surekha Vennam, and Parneet Kaur, secured a final spot against Italy.
