It has been learnt that the complaints, which the CBI has received till now pertaining to the Sandeshkhali incident, it will investigate them from the temporary help desk.

The agency has summoned him to appear before its officers on May 6 at their Kolkata office regarding the land grab case.

Rejecting the bail prayer of Sheikh, the PMLA Court judge Suvendu Saha granted his custody to ED till April 13.

ED, reportedly, conducted raids on a brick kiln belonging to Sheikh Shahjahan in Sandeshkhali in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district. The raids are being conducted in connection with a land grab case filed against Sheikh Shahjahan.

A CBI team went to Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas district and, with the help of the local police, reached the house of Shahjahan’s brother Alamgir Sheikh. Officials said that he was not present at home, and the notice for questioning was served to his family.
