Actor Shabana Azmi emphasised that the world of art was being transformed by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and that artistes must undergo diverse training to adjust to these changes.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has recently issued invitations to 487 new members, including well-known Indian personalities like SS Rajamouli, Shabana Azmi, Rama Rajamouli, Ritesh Sidhwani, and others, to join the Class of 2024. 

She was nominated by Alderman Alastair King DL and Deputy Brian Mooney BEM for the award, conferred by the financial hub of London referred to as the City of London or the Square Mile.

The Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee has starred in over 140 Hindi films and 12 international productions such as Mehta's Midnight's Children, Mira Nair's The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Ismail Merchant's In Custody.
