India has ambitious goals to be a leader in the global IT hardware sector. Minister of Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar has confirmed two projects to set up semicondductor fabs in India. The full-fledged manufacturing units will be supported by facilities for assembly and packaging.
