"Of course, I am very excited, I am looking forward to a decision being made by the party leaders and I do hope that I (will) get an opportunity to contest. It will be my privilege," he stated. 

Vijayadharani hailed the Centre for its various good schemes and lamented that some of those are not being implemented in Tamil Nadu, where the DMK-Congress alliance is in power. 

Dallewal claimed that several farmers coming from Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka, owing loyalty to SKM have been detained in Bhopal. 

The individuals released have been identified as Captains (retired) Navtej Gill and Saurabh Vasisht, Commanders (retired) Purnendu Tiwari, Amit Nagpal, SK Gupta, BK Verma, and Sugunakar Pakala, along with sailor Ragesh.
