RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has criticised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for aligning with what he described as "divisive" political forces, claiming that the JD(U) chief has aided the RSS and BJP in strengthening their foothold in the state.

Voting is continuing in five Lok Sabha seats of Araria, Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Madhepura and Khagaria in Bihar on May 7, 2024.

Expressing gratitude for the prime minister's decision to commence his campaign from Jamui, BJP ally Chirag Paswan lauded the gesture, affirming the Lok Janshakti Party's commitment to support Modi's vision of securing over 400 seats for the NDA, including Bihar's 40 constituencies.
