"We do not have any personal issue with anyone specifically. This is what the SKM has to say. Whether it is Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, or the rest of the country, the Morcha has given this guideline that vote for a candidate who can defeat the BJP nominee," Tikait said. 

Amidst the ongoing farmers' protest, a significant event unfolded as the Kisan Mahapanchayat, organized by the Samyukt Kisam Morcha (SKM), took center stage at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.

The government's push towards digital commerce in agriculture received a significant boost as nearly 5,000 out of 8,000 registered Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) have been successfully onboarded on the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) portal. This milestone underscores the commitment to leveraging technology for empowering farmers and enhancing their market access.

This comes amid thousands of farmers staying put at Khanauri and Shambhu points on Punjab's border with Haryana after their 'Delhi Chalo' march, spearheaded by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) to press the Centre for various demands, including a legal guarantee of minimum support price (MSP) for crops, was stopped by security forces.  

For the sixth session of negotiations, Union Minister Arjun Munda invited farmer leaders on Wednesday to discuss a range of topics, including the demand for MSP, crop diversification, the stubble issue, and FIR.

"Putting nails on the road is not justified. If they put nails in our way, we will also do the same in our villages. We also have to do barricading of our villages. If they are not allowing us to reach Delhi, we will not let them enter our villages," Tikait stated.

Farmers plan to position their tractors along the highways leading to Delhi on February 26 and 27, demonstrating solidarity with protesting farmers and their key demands, including the minimum support price.
