Rajasthan is bracing for a bit of a break from the scorching heat wave that has gripped the state, as per a senior official from the IMD’s Rajasthan Meteorological Centre. By the end of May, temperatures are expected to drop by 3-5 degrees Celsius, offering some relief to the residents.

Rajasthan will continue to experience intense heatwave conditions and warm nights for the next few days, as there is no immediate relief in sight. The India Meteorological Department's (IMD) Rajasthan Meteorological Centre announced on Monday that temperatures will remain high, with little to no change expected until May 29.

The scorching heat wave has tightened its grip over Rajasthan, with temperatures soaring to a blistering 50 degrees Celsius. The intense heat is expected to persist for the next two to three days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The sweltering heat in Rajasthan shows no signs of relenting, with Barmer topping the charts yet again for the highest temperatures. The mercury soared to a staggering 48.6 degrees Celsius, making it challenging for residents to step out, even during the nights.

Rajasthan is currently experiencing an intense heatwave, with temperatures soaring to dangerous levels. The last 24 hours have seen Pilani recording a maximum temperature of 46.6 degrees Celsius, while Sri Ganganagar follows closely with 46.3 degrees Celsius.
