Commissioner of Police Amitesh Kumar said the accident investigation has revealed that the juvenile's blood samples were replaced with those of his mother.  Police had told a local court two days ago that the blood samples of the juvenile were exchanged with those of a woman.  

In a recent development, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar revealed that efforts were made to project that the 17-year-old who allegedly crashed his Porsche into a motorbike, resulting in the death of two people, was not driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Instead, there were attempts to suggest that an adult was behind the wheel.

A Juvenile Justice Board will decide if the teenager involved in a deadly car crash in Pune should be tried as an adult, according to the lawyer representing the accused.

The fatal accident occurred in Pune city when a Porsche, allegedly driven by the 17-year-old who was reportedly drunk, hit two motorbike-borne software engineers in Kalyani Nagar in the early hours of Sunday.
