He was produced before the special court for elected Representatives which had on May 31 remanded him to SIT custody till June 6.

The officials are investigating to ascertain the purpose of recording the videos and the possible involvement of other people in it. His mother Bhavani has been absconding in the case related to the abduction of a woman who was allegedly sexually abused by Prajwal Revanna.

Prajwal Revanna's mother, Bhavani Revanna, has taken legal action by filing an anticipatory bail plea in connection with a kidnapping case. This move comes amidst ongoing legal proceedings surrounding her husband, HD Revanna, who was previously arrested in the same case.

Prajwal reportedly departed for Germany on April 27, the day following the polls in Hassan, and remains elusive.

Former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda has issued a stern warning to his grandson Prajwal Revanna, who is accused of rape. Gowda has demanded that Prajwal return to India and surrender to the police, or face severe consequences.

"There are several people connected to this (sexual abuse cases), I don't want to take anyone's names. Kumaraswamy has said that for those who are involved in this matter, action should be taken against all of them, and the affected women should get justice and compensation." 

"Procedures are on until we secure him, bring him back here, and take action by law, they will continue. We will neither slow it nor stop it," Parameshwara told reporters on questions about Interpol's Blue Corner Notice that was issued against Prajwal.

In their letter, they said the incident shows the feudal mindset of a powerful family, whose members hold key positions in Parliament, the legislative assembly, the legislative council, panchayats and municipal bodies.

He also hit out at the saffron party for making misleading statements aimed at causing confusion in the minds of the people about SIT.

So far, three FIRs have been registered against Prajwal including the charges of rape, molestation, intimidation, blackmailing, and threatening. 

With another complaint, there are now three cases of alleged sexual abuse registered against JD(S) MP and Lok Sabha candidate from Hassan Prajwal Revanna.

Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara said the state government’s CID is competent enough to investigate the case.
