"We believe that the BJP will form the government for the third time in Haryana after the assembly election," he said.

Saini recently defeated his main rival, Congress's Tarlochan Singh to win the by-poll for the Karnal Assembly seat, which party colleague Manohar Lal Khattar earlier held. 

"We work for you, not for power or money, and feel that it is our duty," she added.

Kaur came out in support of Channi, citing, that the gesture was done respectfully and that she did not feel/find anything 'inappropriate' in it. 

At the campaign launch, AAP Delhi state convener Gopal Rai said the BJP is claiming that they are fighting the elections against corruption.  "But we will tell people about the truth of these claims," he said.  

"Kejriwal is the biggest liar in this country. Kejriwal can say anything about anyone. He has deceived the people of Delhi and Punjab with his lies. His comments only entertain the people of this country and will benefit the BJP," Thakur stated. 

"The writing is on the wall that the BJP is on the way out," he said. 

Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen, and Dharampal Gonder withdrew their support to the Nayab Singh Saini-led government in the state, citing that they had decided to extend support to the Congress during the polls in the state.  

Dhillon said, "I have served my state for about two decades as a police officer. Today, I am here with the blessings of Rahul Gandhi ji." 

"First we need to win the elections", Kharge said, as he asserted that who will be the INDIA bloc's Prime Ministerial face is a matter to be settled only after the results of the Lok Sabha polls are declared. 

The party's Himachal Pradesh unit spokesperson Vivek Sharma said the workers would ensure a huge victory for BJP candidates by helping them secure 370 votes more in each booth than the tally of the 2019 polls. 

"Singh will be visiting Punjab today. He will be going to Mann's residence. The Punjab chief minister was recently blessed with a baby girl and Singh will meet the newborn," an AAP source said.
