The joint investigation team (JIT) will look into the relevant people who have trolled government officials and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) functionaries and “identify and prosecute the culprits” under the relevant laws. 

"Nawaz Sharif has thanked the political parties which provided support to the PMLN (in forming the upcoming government) and expressed hope that through such decisions Pakistan will come out of crises," Maryam Nawaz said.

The decision came after a high-powered meeting of PPP's Central Executive Committee (CEC), led by Bilawal, where it was acknowledged that the party had not secured the mandate to form a government at the federal level.

The threshold to establish a government requires a party to secure 133 seats out of 265 in the National Assembly. The total seats, including reserved slots for women and minorities, amount to 336, with 169 seats constituting a simple majority.

Tragically, the incident took the lives of 4 police Persons while 2 others sustained injuries.

Solangi was addressing the media and election observers along with the officials of the Foreign Office, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Interior and the Election Commission of Pakistan.
