The Union Ministry of Education is celebrating the fourth anniversary of the National Education Policy 2020 with a week-long campaign called “Shiksha Saptah.” This initiative emphasises community involvement in education through the Vidyanjali and Tithi Bhojan programmes, with participation from seven schools nationwide.

He stated that the NEP would be implemented gradually, following the committee's recommendations. He claimed that the policy, announced in 2020, should have been implemented by then but was delayed due to the alleged indifference of the previous Congress government.

One of the objectives of the new National Education Policy (NEP), unveiled in 2020, is to reduce the academic stress on students, Pradhan said on Monday after launching the PM SHRI (Prime Minister Schools for Rising India) scheme in Chhattisgarh under which 211 schools of the state will be upgraded.
