The Supreme Court has recently rejected a plea challenging the postponement of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality Examination 2024, commonly known as NEET-SS.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav amidst the ongoing controversy surrounding the NEET examination 2024. Pradhan accused both leaders of shedding "crocodile tears" over the alleged irregularities in the exam.

The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing for July 18 on a series of petitions alleging paper leakage and malpractices in the NEET-UG 2024 exam, which was held on May 5.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the NEET UG 2024 retest on Monday, July 1. This retest was specifically organised for the 1,563 candidates who were initially awarded grace marks due to alleged time loss during the main exam conducted on May 5, 2024.

Manish Kumar and Ashutosh Kumar allegedly provided safe premises to the aspirants before the examination where they were given leaked papers and answer keys, the officials said.

The Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's leadership, is poised to introduce the Uttar Pradesh Public Examinations Ordinance 2024 in response to recent paper leaks affecting exams for police constable recruitment and RO-ARO positions.

 The question paper was transported using a vehicle from the network and delivered to the bank via e-rickshaw.
